COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Eduardo Mena's fall slate is chock full of one premier tournament after another, squaring off against the nation's best talent throughout the autumn months. Having already competed in the exclusive Oracle ITA Masters in Malibu, Calif., Mena's next challenge will see the two-time OVC Player of the Year take his talents to Tulsa, Okla.

Mena will compete in the 2017 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships, hosted by the University of Tulsa for the 13th-straight year. With qualifying singles and doubles affairs already in the rear view mirror, the Bultrago del Lozoya, Spain native is set to take aim in the main draw matches this Thursday through Monday. Mena's opening round match is against Tulsa's Josh Goodger at 11 a.m. CT. The Mena-Goodger victor will clash with the winner of Georgia's Walker Duncan and Mississippi State's Nuno Borges in Friday's second-round action.

64 of the country's best will compete in the exclusive field, beginning with first round action on Thursday (Oct. 5). The round of 32 is set for Friday, while the round of 16 and quarterfinals are on Saturday. The semifinals are on Sunday and the championship match will take place Monday.

Mena, the nation's 33rd ranked player in the recently announced Oracle ITA Division I Preseason National Rankings, held his own in the ITA Masters in late September, going 1-2 in a tournament that featured the top player from each Division I conference. The 6-foot senior lost a tight three-set tilt to Portland's Michail Pervolarakis, before bouncing back with a straight-set nod over Western Michigan's Kennosuke Nouchi in the consolation bracket. Mena's stay in Malibu ended with a three-set loss to Appalachian State's Scott Webster.

In his first tournament of the fall, Mena put together a stellar showing in the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, hosted by the University of Georgia. As the overall No. 4 seed, the Bultrago del Lozoya, Spain native received a first-round bye, before making it all the way to the quarterfinals with wins over Georgia's Alex Phillips and Walker Duncan.
