Tech tennis competing in Louisville Fall Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The fall schedule for the Tennessee Tech men's tennis team continues as the squad heads to Louisville, Ky., on Saturday and Sunday to compete in the Louisville Fall Invitational, held at the University of Louisville's Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

Tech is one of 12 teams competing in the event, which includes Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Campbellsville, Dayton, Illinois State, Lipscomb, Louisville, Memphis, Michigan, Wright State and Xavier.

There will be A, B and C divisions in singles and doubles. Results will be available at Louisville's website, www.GoCards.com. The event's draw is scheduled to be released Friday.

The Golden Eagles are coming off of an appearance at the ITA All-American tournament at the University of Tulsa. Eduardo Mena, ranked No. 93 on the ITA rankings, defeated Tulsa's Francois Kellerman, then fell to TCU's Trevor Johnson.
