Vasily was a January addition to the Golden Eagle roster in 2010-11 and has proved to be a tremendous asset the past three seasons, earning all-OVC second-team honors twice...now a seasoned veteran, he will play a key role in Tech's success as a senior...heads into the spring dual match slate as a potential standout for the Golden Eagles...preseason ranked among the Top 10 players in the OVC...was a strong junior player in Russia.

At Tech- (In 2012 -13): Vasily had the top singles record on the team during the fall tournament schedule with an overall mark of 10-4....in singles action, he posted the longest winning streak on the team with six straight...in doubles action, he had a 5-6 overall record with most of his wins coming after being paired with Ezequiel Gils...during his spring dual match season, Vasily was outstanding with a 10-8 overall record including a perfect 8-0 record against the OVC...all of his wins came a the No. 4 position, where he was 10-4...finished the year on a nine-match winning streak...was 12-4 in doubles play, posting a 7-1 record in OVC matches...played every match at the No. 2 doubles position, paired with Artem Tarasov for the entire dual season.

(In 2011-2012): Vasily has a good year for the Golden Eagles... overall he posted a 14-12 record in singles, winning eight of his last 10 matches...in doubles action he posted an overall record of 9-9...was 4-3 in tournament play in singles during the fall season...went 1-3 in doubles play with two of his three losses coming against SEC foes Georgia and Tennessee.

(In 2010-11): Joining the team upon his enrollment at TTU in January, Vasily proved to be an outstanding addition to the Golden Eagle lineup and went on to earn second-team all-OVC honors in his debut...went 9-7 in singles matches as a rookie including a stout 6-1 record in OVC matches...played in every singles position except No. 6...was 5-10 in his doubles appearances, lining up in all three positions...slammed his way through six consecutive OVC singles wins before falling in the regular season finale in a close contest against Eastern Kentucky, 7-6, 7-5.

BEFORE Tech: Vasily was a nationally ranked player in the U-18 level in Russia...began playing the sport at the age of five and has been playing 14 years...was ranked as high as ninth nationally...spent three years listed among the Top 30 junior players in his county and was in the Top 10 for three months...was ranked in the world's Top 700 in the U-18 ITF charts...after attending Grammar School No. 7, Vasily spent one year at the Siberan Federal University.

PERSONAL: The son of Sergey and Galina Eremeev...birthdate is July 30, 1992...studying web design.
