Two Golden Egales playing at ITA Championships in Tulsa

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Senior Alex Chen and sophomore Syrm Abdukhailikov will represent Tennessee Tech this weekend at the ITA Championships, each opening on Saturday in pre-qualifing rounds at the University of Tulsa.

Chen is scheduled to meet Rick DeGroot of Louisiana-Lafayette in a match a 11 a.m. The winner faces Adrian Forberg Skogeg of Mississippi at 4:30 p.m.

Abdukhailikov, meanwhile, begins his weekend with an 8 a.m. match against Blake Wiggins of TCU. The winner is scheduled to place George Washington's Ugur Atalay at 6 p.m.
