Tech wraps up fall slate with Pinetree Intercollegiate in Kennesaw

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team will close the fall campaign with a trip south to Kennesaw, Ga. for the Pinetree Intercolleigate, competing Monday and Tuesday at Pinetree Country Club.

PINETREE INTERCOLLEGIATE: Oct. 17-18, 2022 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 7,108-yard Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Ga. Play will begin Monday with 36 holes beginning with a 7:00 a.m. CT shotgun start. Tech will compete in the final 18 holes on Tuesday, again featuring a 7:00 a.m. shotgun start.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Jackson Skeen, freshman Anders Larson, freshman Haden Maxwell, senior Chance Taylor, and junior Sean Anderson.

THE COMPETITION: The 11-team field consists of host Kennesaw State, as well as Belmont, Bradley, Francis Marion, Georgia State, Jacksonville State, Mercer, New Orleans, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, and WKU.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "We are ready to end the season and a three-week stretch of competition at Kennesaw. The course is fantastic and will be a great test for the guys. We look forward to ending the fall on a solid note."
