Tech men's golf team wraps up regular season at Big Blue Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team wraps up the 2021-22 regular season at the Big Blue Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio Valley Conference rival Tennessee State at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn. from Monday, Apr. 11 to Tuesday, Apr. 12.

BIG BLUE INTERCOLLEGIATE: Apr. 11-12, 2022 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-71, 7,020-yard President's Reserve Course at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn. Play will begin with an 8:00 a.m. CT shotgun start on Monday. 

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Nick Sutton, junior Chance Taylor, redshirt freshman Jackson Skeen, sophomore Mark McDearman, and senior Bracton Womack. Competing as individuals are sophomore Sean Anderson and redshirt freshman Alexander Bassel

THE COMPETITION: The 13-team field consists of host Tennessee State, as well as Alabama A&M, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Belmont, Evansville, John A. Logan College, Longwood, Murray State, North Carolina A&T, Stetson, Tennessee Tech, UT Maritn, and Wright State.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "We are excited to return to a familiar place as we finish the regular season. We have had a lot of success at The Hermitage over the years and we look to continue that trend this week. The guys are ready for the opportunity as move closer and closer to conference."
