Spring 2019 (Junior): Yeary participated in each of Tech’s six events in the fall, completing 18 rounds of play… shattered his previous career-low score by seven shots after posting a 70-71-69=210 at the Big Blue Intercollegiate… tied for third at the same event to garner All-Tournament honors… tied for fifth place and earned All-Tournament honors at The Grover Page Classic (Mar. 11-12), turning in a 221… named the team’s Most Improved Player for the year… finished his junior campaign with a scoring average of 74.31.

Fall 2018 (Junior): Yeary competed in all five of the team’s tournaments in the fall, finishing 14 rounds of action… turned in a fall-best 222 twice, including at the Derek Dolenc Invitational (Sept. 24-25) where he posted a 69 for his best round of the fall… also marked a 222 at the Autotrader Collegiate Classic (Oct. 15-16)… rounded out the semester with a scoring average of 74.79.

Spring 2018 (Sophomore): Yeary participated in four of Tech’s six spring tournaments, completing 12 rounds of action… carded a career-low 67 in the second round of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 18-20), finishing the event with a spring-low score of 219… earned his first top-25 finish of the year in the same event… earned the team’s Most Improved award… concluded the year with a scoring average of 75.69.

Fall 2017 (Sophomore): Yeary took part in five of the team’s six fall events, tallying 14 rounds of play… posted a career-low 217 at the EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate (Sept. 16-17) behind rounds of 77, 70 and 70… wrapped up the fall with a 75.29 scoring average.

Spring 2017 (Freshman): Yeary competed in all five of Tech’s spring tournaments, finishing 15 rounds of action… shot a spring-low 77-75-74=226 at the Big Blue Intercollegiate (Apr. 10-11), tying for 19th overall… carded a 78-75-74=227 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 19-21)… earned a share of the team’s Impact Award with fellow freshmen Dabney Dickenson and Charles Seals… completed his first collegiate season with a scoring average of 76.96.

Fall 2016 (Freshman): Yeary participated in four of the team’s five fall events, completing 12 rounds of play… made his collegiate debut with a 73-76-72=221 at the GolfWeek Program Challenge (Sept. 11-13)… finished in a season-best tie for 17th at the Samford Intercollegiate (Oct. 31-Nov. 1), carding a 78-77-73=229… averaged 76.42 for the fall.

High School: Yeary lettered four years for head coach Bill Warren at Halls High School in Knoxville… helped lead his team to three district titles, including his senior season, as well as a runner-up finish… also helped his team to two runner-up finishes at the region tournament… led HHS to the 2015 Prep Master’s Tournament title… named All-District three times and All-Region once… earned All-KIL accolades three times and was a member of the PrepXtra Team.

Personal: Son of Mark and Cindy… born February 9, 1998… full name is Cameron M. Yeary.

Academic: Majoring in accounting… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll six times and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll three times… OVC Medal of Honor recipient for 2016-17 and 2017-18… recognized as a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar for 2018-19.
