Tech men's golf team set to host seventh annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team will look to keep the momentum running after claiming the title at the Grover Page Classic last week, heading to Sevierville, Tenn. to host the seventh annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate Mar. 17-19.

BOBBY NICHOLS INTERCOLLEGIATE: Mar. 17-19, 2019 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,881-yard Sevierville Golf Club (River Course) in Sevierville, Tenn. Teams will kick off with an 11:00 a.m. CT shotgun start on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday will currently feature a 9:00 a.m. CT shotgun start.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Bracton Womack, junior Cameron Yeary, freshman Bryce Beeler, sophomore Will Brooks and senior Matthew Giles. Competing as individuals are junior Dabney Dickenson, freshman Cade Puryear and freshman Chance Taylor.

THE COMPETITION: The 15-team field consists of host Tennessee Tech, as well as, Butler, Carson-Newman, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, IUPUI, Lee University, Montreat College, Morehead State, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin and Wright State.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "The guys are very excited to play our event once again this year. Coming off a win in Jackson, we look to continue the momentum in Sevierville. We look forward to the opportunity to compete in the biggest field the BNI has ever had. It is going to be fun."
