COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team kicks off its spring slate Saturday, Feb. 16, making a trip south for The Invitational at Savannah Harbor. The two-day event, hosted by William & Mary, will feature 54 holes at The Club at Savannah Harbor from Saturday through Sunday.
EAST BAY DELI CLASSIC: Feb. 16-17, 2019 – 54 holes (36 Saturday, 18 Sunday), located at the par-72, 7,287-yard The Club at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Ga. Teams will kick off with a 7:00 a.m. CT shotgun start both days.
GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Will Brooks, sophomore Bracton Womack, junior Dabney Dickenson, junior Cameron Yeary and freshman Bryce Beeler.
THE COMPETITION: The 18-team field consists of host William & Mary, as well as Austin Peay, Belmont, Bethune-Cookman, Butler, Columbia, Delaware, Florida A&M, Jacksonville State, North Dakota State, Northern Kentucky, Omaha, Savannah State, South Carolina Beaufort, Tennessee Tech, Valparaiso, Washington & Lee and Wright State.
THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "We are very excited to get back down to Savannah to start the spring. It is a great event to start the semester at an outstanding golf course. The guys are ready to go, and we look forward to getting off to a solid start."
