Golden Eagles wrap up fall season at East Bay Deli Classic

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team wraps up the fall campaign with the three-day, East Bay Deli Classic, beginning Sunday, Nov. 4 at Turtle Point at the Kiawah Island Resort in South Carolina.

EAST BAY DELI CLASSIC: Nov. 4-6, 2018 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,911-yard Kiawah Island Resort (Turtle Point) in Kiawah Island, S.C. Teams will kick off with a 6:30 a.m. CT shotgun start on Sunday and Monday and an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start on Tuesday.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are senior Matthew Giles, sophomore Will Brooks, junior Cameron Yeary, freshman Chance Taylor and sophomore Bracton Womack.

THE COMPETITION: The 21-team field consists of host Charleston Southern, as well as Appalachian State, Augusta, College of Charleston, Florida Atlantic, Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb, Hampton, High Point, Jacksonville State, Loyola Maryland, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Presbyterian, Radford, Tennessee Tech, Troy, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, William & Mary and Winthrop. 

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "This another challenging event for the guys, but one that will offer them good prepartion for the OVC Championships. They have been putting in good work since our last event and I know they are excited to end the fall slate at a beautiful course in Kiawah."
