Spring 2017 (Freshman): Yeary competed in all five of Tech’s spring tournaments, finishing 15 rounds of action… shot a spring-low 77-75-74=226 at the Big Blue Intercollegiate (Apr. 10-11), tying for 19th overall… carded a 78-75-74=227 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 19-21)… earned a share of the team’s Impact Award with fellow freshmen Dabney Dickenson and Charles Seals… completed his first collegiate season with a scoring average of 76.96.

Fall 2016 (Freshman): Yeary participated in four of the team’s five fall events, completing 12 rounds of play… made his collegiate debut with a 73-76-72=221 at the GolfWeek Program Challenge (Sept. 11-13)… finished in a season-best tie for 17th at the Samford Intercollegiate (Oct. 31-Nov. 1), carding a 78-77-73=229… averaged 76.42 for the fall.

High School: Yeary lettered four years for head coach Bill Warren at Halls High School in Knoxville… helped lead his team to three district titles, including his senior season, as well as a runner-up finish… also helped his team to two runner-up finishes at the region tournament… led HHS to the 2015 Prep Master’s Tournament title… named All-District three times and All-Region once… earned All-KIL accolades three times and was a member of the PrepXtra Team.

Academic: Majoring in basic business… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once… OVC Medal of Honor recipient for 2016-17.
