COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team will take and early fall season test against several members of the Ohio Valley Conference, making the close trip to Dickson, Tenn. for the F&M Bank Intercollegiate hosted by Austin Peay from Oct. 17-18.

F&M BANK INTERCOLLEGIATE: 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 7,045-yard Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn. Teams will kick off both Monday and Tuesday with 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun starts.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are sophomore Matthew Giles, junior Alexander Riddle, junior A.J. Wilkerson, freshman Dabney Dickenson and freshman Cameron Yeary.

THE COMPETITION: The 10-team field consists of host Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Mercer, Missouri State, Murray State, New Orleans, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and UT Martin.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "Last week's performance was not up to the standard we have for ourselves. The guys are anxious to bounce back this week and I know they are up to the task. Most of our guys have played at Greystone before, which should help. We haven't played in Austin Peay's event for a few years, so it will be nice to go back and compete with several teams in our conference. We'll be looking for some guys to step up. We need that to try and get back on the right path as we close out the fall. The guys have done a great job of maintaining good spirits in light of some struggles this semester. That is essential for us to turn this thing around, and I think we will. We are expecting to go out there and have a good showing."

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Golden Eagles will send its fourth different lineup in as many events to Dickson, Tenn., trotting out a good mix of experience and youth. True freshman Dabney Dickenson will make his fourth appearance of the year, showing signs of improvement each time out on the links. Yeary will play in his third tournament of the season, having participated in each of the team's first two events of the year.
