Tech men's golf team returns to action at Kenny Perry Invitational

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Following nearly two weeks away from the links, the Tennessee Tech men's golf team will get back to work Monday morning at the Kenny Perry Invitational hosted by Western Kentucky at the Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky.

The 54-hole event, which features 36 holes Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday, will kick off for the Golden Eagle squad at approximately 8:20 a.m. CDT on hole No. 10. Play on Tuesday will commence with a shotgun start beginning around 9 a.m.

The course is set to play at a par of 72 and 7,319 yards for all three rounds. The field features 11 teams, including four other Ohio Valley Conference teams. Here's a look at the participating teams:

"The guys are very excited to get to Olde Stone this week and compete," head coach Polk Brown said. "Both the field and venue are excellent, and we will look to put together three solid rounds. We expect to give ourselves a chance come Tuesday."
