Golden Eagles look to capture title at Grover Page Classic after second-place finish last year

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Just one year removed from taking second place at the Grover Page Classic, the Tennessee Tech men's golf team will make the trip back to Jackson, Tenn. Monday, taking on a field of 13 teams in the two-day event.

The teams will play 36 holes at the Jackson Country Club on Monday and wrap up play on Tuesday with the final 18 holes. The par-72 course plays at 6,783 yards. Here's a look at the participating teams:

John A. Logan
Lee University
Missouri Baptist
Missouri State
Murray State
Southern Illinois
Tennessee State
Tennessee Tech
Union University
University of the Cumberlands
UT Martin

"We've had success in the past at UT Martin's event," head coach Polk Brown said. "We'll look for that trend to continue this upcoming week. We had a chance to win it last year and I expect the guys to get fired up and put themselves into position to win it this year."
