"We're looking forward to getting back on the road with the guys this weekend," said head coach Polk Brown. "I'm excited about the possibilities of competing and having a chance to win. We're coming off a great finish a couple weeks ago. Quite a few OVC teams will be there, so it will be a good chance to go up against our counter parts and see where we stack up. It's a great golf course and we look forward for the chance to compete."

The expected top five for the Golden Eagles will look to be the same as the first tournament of the year when Tech finished fifth out of 15 teams at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate in Hattiesburg, Miss.:

  1. Lee Whitehead (Jr.)
  2. Mitch Thomas (So.)
  3. Bryce Kendrick (So.)
  4. Adam Cunningham (So.)
  5. Mason Griffin (R-Jr.)
  6. Maxx Verble (Jr.) - Competing as an individual

The Golden Eagles will look to add its fourth consecutive top five finish dating back to last season when it finished fifth at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate. Tech followed that up with a third place finish at the OVC Championship.
