The Golden Eagles finished 10th in the event last year, being led by then-freshman Mitch Thomas. He carded a career-low 66 in the third round of the event, finishing with an overall score of 214 while tying for seventh.

"The men have had some time over the last couple of weeks to get in some good, quality practice," said head coach Polk Brown. "They look forward to competing at this event. It is a very large field, and it will give the guys a great opportunity to compete against some very solid teams. It is all about building momentum as the Ohio Valley Conference Championship gets closer, and we expect to continue to do that."
