Tech wraps up regular season at TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech men's golf team hits the links one more time before the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, travelling to Nashville for the Tennessee State Big Blue Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday. The field features 14 teams, eight of which are members of the OVC.

The high concentration of conference schools makes it a great precursor to the OVC Championships April 25-27. Joining the Golden Eagles are 

Alabama State, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, IPFW, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee (Individual Play only), Morehead State, Murray State, SIU-Edwardsville, South Dakota, Southern Illinois, UT Martin, Trevecca and host Tennessee State.

The 14 squads will tee off at the President's Reserve Course at Hermitage Golf Club both days in a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The tournament features 36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday at the Par-72 course plays 7,157 yards. 

Tech last saw action at the Arkansas State Red Wolf Intercollegiate two weeks ago, where freshman Mitch Thomas hit the lowest round in the OVC this season with a 66.
