AT TECH:
2011-12: Travis played in all five fall tournaments, competing in 14 rounds of golf...carded a season-low round of 72 in the final round of the Skyhawk Classic in October...finished with a stroke average of 77.5.

2010-11: Travis played in six tournaments and posted a 77.8 average...fashioned his best score with a second-round 71 (October 4) in the Murray State Invitational...finished the event with 82-71-77=230.

2009-2010: Travis appeared in six events for the Golden Eagles...posted a stroke average of 77.2 through 15 rounds of play...his season low for a round was 70, which came during the second round at the Big Blue Intercollegiate (4/6).

2008-09: Travis played in three tournaments in 2008-09 with an average score of five over par…finished the second round of the Big Blue Invitational at even par, on his way to a +12 for the tournament and a 51^st place finish, his highest of the season…finished the APSU Intercollegiate at 15-over, and the Murray State Invitational at 18-over…average round was a five-over par 76.7 for the year.

2007-08: Travis used a redshirt in his first year at Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman for coach Amanda Beaty at Clarkrange High School...served the final three years as team captain...was Region 4A individual medalist as a sophomore...winner of team's MVP award each of the past three years...averaged 73.0 as a junior and 72.0 as a senior.

PERSONAL: The son of Ronny and Cheryl Ramsey of Grimsley, Tenn...born January 15, 1988 in Banner Springs...enrolled in general curriculum... cousin Grant Ramsey was a four-year letterman on the Tech golf team, and cousin Jordan Ramsey was a redshirt on the Golden Eagle women's basketball team for one season.
