CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Jared Dunn is Tennessee Tech's individual
leader and the Golden Eagles are tied for seventh place among 17
teams after the first two rounds of the 54-hole F&M Bank
Intercollegiate hosted by Austin Peay.
Host Austin Peay holds the team lead following play Monday, while
Tech is in a four-way tie for seventh place along with Morehead
State, Dayton and Eastern Illinois. The four are just five shots
out of fifth place.
The Golden Eagles opened with a 298 in the first round, then
improved by nine shots to post a 298 in the second go-round at the
Links at Novadell. The Links at Novadell are set up as a par-72,
6,841-yard layout for the tournament.
Dunn is in 15h place after shooting rounds of 71 and 72 on Monday
for a 143. Wesley Korth is next for the Golden Eagles, holding 27th
place with a 75-71--146 total. Jake Heatherly (75-72--147) is tied
for 31st, Blake Garrison (77-76--153) is tied for 66th place, and
Joshua Simer (81-74--155) is tied for 75th place.
