COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team continues its three-game road swing Saturday afternoon, making the trip south for a 4:30 p.m. CT match-up at Troy in Trojan Arena.

Fans can follow the action via radio on 106.1 The Eagle with Roger Ealey on the call or stream the game on ESPN+.

Troy comes into Saturday's contest a three-game skid after starting the season 6-1, falling at No. 11 Arkansas, at Tech's Ohio Valley Conference rival SIUE, and at San Diego State. The Trojans' other loss came at a neutral location against St. Thomas [MN].

The Trojans did pick up a marquee win at Florida State earlier in the season, 79-72, and own DI victories against Merrimack and at Montana.

Saturday's affair marks the second meeting all-time between the two programs. In last season's inaugural meeting in December, Troy edged the Golden Eagles in a thriller in the Hooper Eblen Center, 75-72.

The Golden Eagles fell at Butler in their most recent contest, playing the Bulldogs close until the final six minutes of the tilt at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis last Saturday. Butler pulled away in the closing minutes for an 80-66 win.

Two members of the purple and gold delivered career performances to help with the effort, paced by junior guard Jayvis Harvey. The Durham, N.C. native finished 7-for-10 from the field on his way to a career-high 16 points. Junior center Nolan Causwell produced a career-best 12 points with five rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes off the bench.

Graduate guard Ty Perry rounded the group of Golden Eagles in double figures, securing 14 points along the way. Fellow graduate transfer Jaylen Sebree led Tech with six rebounds while junior guard Erik Oliver dished out a team-best five dimes.
