COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team's Ohio Valley Conference game against Southeast Missouri, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed due to Southeast Missouri COVID-19 protocols.

Consistent with OVC basketball rescheduling policy, the contest will not be rescheduled at this time since Tennessee Tech has hit the four-game rescheduling limit. In the event a window opens up on a Thursday or Saturday due to other postponements, the Conference office will work with both institutions to reschedule the game. If the contest is not rescheduled, it will become a no-contest.

The Tech men will now open its OVC season on Saturday, Jan. 15 with a road contest against UT Martin in Martin, Tenn. at 3:30 p.m. CT.

The Golden Eagle women's basketball team will still compete against the Redhawks on Thursday with the original 5:00 p.m. tip still on as scheduled.
