COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team's first two Ohio Valley Conference games, at Tennessee State and at Murray State, have been postponed due to Tennessee Tech COVID-19 protocols.
Consistent with OVC basketball rescheduling policy, both games will be allowed to be rescheduled. Dates for the rescheduled games are as follows:
Tennessee Tech at Tennessee State - Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 - TBA
Tennessee Tech at Murray State - Monday, Jan. 24, 2022 - 7:00 p.m. CT
The Tech men will now open its OVC season on Thursday, Jan. 6 with a home contest at the Hooper Eblen Center against Morehead State at 7:30 p.m.
Both Golden Eagle women's contests are still set for their scheduled dates and times of Thursday, Dec. 30 (5:30 p.m. at Tennessee State) and Saturday, Jan. 1 (5:00 p.m. at Murray State).
