COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team will host its annual Fall Alumni Weekend Saturday, Nov. 10 in the Hooper Eblen Center. All former Golden Eagle players, coaches, managers and other alumni are encouraged to come on out and participate in an action-packed day.
We are excited to welcome you back as we begin another season of Golden Eagle basketball. Saturday morning we will have an open house, practice, facility tour and welcome breakfast from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CT at the Eblen Center. Lunch is on your own, but there are some great local eateries around campus and on the west side of town.
Weather permitting you could play a round of golf at the Golden Eagle Golf Course located at 1500 Country Club Road off of 10th Street in Cookeville. Cost for cart and green fees for TTU alumni is $27. Please call (931) 372-GOLF (4653) to make a reservation.
The Golden Eagles will take on Presbyterian at 6 p.m. Saturday night. Tickets to the game and an invitation to the Eagles Nest hospitality suite are offered complimentary to you as our guest. After the game, from 8:30 – 10:30 p.m., we will have a reception at the Quality Inn (formerly Clarion Inn) located at 970 South Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville. Quality Inn is offering a great alumni rate of $69.99 per night (pre-taxes). Please call 931-526-7125, press zero and ask for the Tech Men's Basketball Alumni Weekend rate.
Also, Coach Payne is excited to offer anyone who orders in advance the chance to buy an official TTU Men's Basketball Nike polo. Cost is $40 and we will need to know what size you would like.
