COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Every season has at least one signature play that resonates with the fan base and will be remembered for years to come. For the fans of the Tennessee Tech men's basketball team, one play that stands out from this season's highlight reels belongs to Javon McKay.

Less than 30 seconds into the second half in a home contest against Belmont, McKay stole the ball from Bruin star J.J. Mann and broke for the basket. Craig Bradshaw lept after McKay, trying to prevent an open bucket. But the Atlanta, Ga. native posterized the Belmont guard, slamming down a rim rattler that shook the arena with the deafening roar of the crowd.

Tech would go on to upset the Ohio Valley Conference's top team that night, forever cementing McKay's dunk in the history books of both the Eblen Center and Golden Eagle basketball program.

And now Tech fans have a chance to help the play become a part of NCAA history by voting for it in GEICO's Play of the Year poll. Beginning Monday at noon, fans can go to GEICO's Best of College Basketball Facebook page or directly to GEICO's Play of the Year voting page.

Each week four plays are chosen and presented to the public to vote for the top play. The winners of each week will move on and become a finalist for the Player of the Year award in 3 weeks.
