In 2009-2010 (Freshman): Terrell started 17 games for the Golden Eagles, appearning in 28 and logging 555 minutes for the year. He notched an average of 4.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a forward. Barnes also picked up 11 blocks and 120 total rebounds on the season, ranking third on the team in offensive rebounds with 54. He was given the Golden Eagle award at the end of last season for his contributions.

High School: Terrell earned four letters in basketball at Riverdale High School under coach Derrick Powell…averaged 11.3 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two blocks per game his senior season…earned team ‘best all-around player’ honors…led his team to a 24-7 record his junior season and a class 4A region championship…also excelled in the classroom, finishing high school with a 3.1 GPA…was high school teammate of fellow Tech freshman Jud Dillard.
