The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team will host its Premier
Skills Camp on Saturday, August 29 in the Hooper Eblen Center. The
camp is open to any high school student entering grades 9-12. Space
is limited and the camp will be filled with the first applications
received. Due to limited availability pre-registration is
required.
At the camp, players will be put through individual workouts,
guard and post breakdowns, and compete in five-on-five games.
“This camp gives the kids an opportunity to experience a
high level of play, and see what it’s like at that level in a
college atmosphere,” Tech basketball coach Mike Sutton
said.
The one-day session runs from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. central, with
registration starting at noon. The camp is followed by a
thirty-minute question and answer session with the camp staff and
parents, and a camp meal.
Players wishing to attend the camp should pre-register by
contacting the Tennessee Tech men’s basketball office at
931-372-6115.
