In 2008-09 (Junior): Will played in all 30 games for the Golden Eagles, and started 24 games...named the team's best offensive player by coahc Sutton...scored in double figures 14 times, including a career-high 27 points against Louisiana-Monroe on Dec. 29...set a new career-high in assists with eight against Tennessee State on Jan. 24...grabbed eight rebounds and scored 15 points in Tech's season opener against Bryan College...shot .483 (111-for-230) from the field for the season, and .384 (33-for-86) from three-point distance...averaged 9.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 24.0 minutes per game.
In 2007-08 (Sophomore): Another experienced
player in the Golden Eagle lineup, played in all 32 games in
2007-08, starting the final seven, and nine overall, averaging over
17 minutes per game, scored in double figures six times in an eight
game span from Jan. 26 to Feb. 16...had a season high 22 points on
Feb. 7 when he shot 8-for-10 for the game, including 4-for-4 from
three point distance, averaged 2.2 assists per game, including a
career high 4 assists six times.
In 2006-07 (Freshman): Will played in eight games
last season...scored seven points in his debut, along with two
assists, two rebounds and two steals, in Tech’s win over
Bluefield College...had four points and three rebounds against
Bradley...two assists against Bradley, Kansas State and Bluefield
to establish a career-high...saw a career-high 16 minutes of court
time at UW -Milwaukee.
HIGH SCHOOL: Will came to Tennessee Tech from
Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where he was a
first-team all-state selection as a senior...averaged 17 points,
seven assists, five rebounds and two steals per game in his final
season...all-area and first-team all-west Alabama honoree for coach
Scott Suttles...led the team to the Area 5 title and was named Area
MVP as a senior...finalist for Class 6A Player of the Year...chosen
for Alabama Super Five and named West Alabama Player of the
Year...among his team awards, he won the Assist Award and the
Hustle Award.
