COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With every fall comes the pageantry of college football, special events surrounding the games as fans crowd the stadiums and take part in the events.
The Tennessee Tech football team will host five home weekends in the 2022 campaign with Family Weekend and Homecoming standing as two of the major events over the course of the season. With the schedule announced last weekend, Tech announced its dates for Family Weekend and Homecoming on Thursday.
Family Weekend will be slated for Saturday, Sept. 17, as the Golden Eagles host Samford. The weekend is traditionally a chance for parents of Tech students to visit campus and take in what makes the campus community special.
Homecoming will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, as the Golden Eagles host OVC newcomer Lindenwood. The game is the cornerstone of the week's Homecoming festivities with multiple campus activities, including the annual Homecoming parade, the TTU Sports Hall of Fame induction and the crowning of the Homecoming court among many others.
