COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Spaces are filling up for the 2019 Tennessee Tech Football Alumni Reunion Weekend and Golf Classic, held July 12 and 13 at Golden Eagle Golf Club.

The event kicks off with tours around the facilities on campus, led by Tech head coach Dewayne Alexander, from noon until 4 p.m. on Friday, July 12, followed by the Tony Stone BBQ Dinner on Friday night at the GEGC. Several members of the Golden Eagle football team will be on hand to meet everyone and talk about the team.

Following the dinner, attendees are encouraged to attend the after party – this year at 37 Cedar in Cookeville's historic WestSide district.

In addition to Saturday's round of golf, players will be treated to Ralph's Donuts in the morning, John Dogs from John's Place for lunch, then dinner from Seven Senses Food and Cheer.

The entry fee for attendees playing in the tournament is $125, which includes a goody bag, practice round, cart, beverages, cap, the Tony Stone BBQ Dinner, as well as the Saturday meals.

There is also an option for attendees who wish to be present, but not golf. They will receive all the other perks for a $50 per day or $100 entry fee.

There's also a package for spouses as Angela Alexander will host a Saturday trip through historic downtown Cookeville. The package includes a goody bag and dinner on Friday and Saturday.

The football team raised $25,000 with last year's event, pulling together a field of 188 golfers over 47 teams.

The teams comprised of all former Golden Eagle football players, coaches or managers will be eligible to win the Jim Ragland Players Cup for the four-man team with the lowest score. The Cup will have the winning team's names engraved and displayed at Golden Eagle Golf Club.

There will also be the Jeff Jacoby Putting Contest, named after the late Golden Eagle linebacker turned radio personality. Entrants can pay five dollars for three chances for a guaranteed purse of $200.
