COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – From the moment Tennessee Tech announced that the Golden Eagle football team would visit Neyland Stadium in 2016 and take on the Volunteers, there has been a buzz among fans and alumni about the Nov. 5 game.
Tickets for the game are now available from Tennessee Tech Athletics, and with an eye toward distributing the tickets fairly, a priority system for purchasing seats has been announced.
Tickets are $50 each, and orders may be placed in-person at the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center, via the phone, online at TTUsports.com, or through the mail.
Tech students will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets (Priority One). Students may purchase two tickets by showing a valid TTU ID, until the student allotment has been fulfilled.
Tickets to all others went on sale from the TTU Athletics Ticket Office on Tuesday, May 2. All ticket orders will be filled through the priorities based upon availability.
* Priority Two: Golden Eagle season ticket holders and donors to the TTU Athletics Association. Anyone who has been a season ticket holder as well as a donor, including the upcoming 2016-17 season, will have an opportunity to purchase up to the same number of season tickets on their account.
* Priority Three: Golden Eagle season ticket holders who are committed through the 2016-17 season may purchase the same number of tickets on their account.
All orders by season ticket holders will be filled based upon ticket holder tenure within each priority grouping.
* Priority Four: Donors to the TTU Athletics Association may purchase up to a maximum of four tickets.
* Priority Five: Tennessee Tech University President's Club members may purchase up to a maximum of four tickets.
* Priority Six: Tennessee Tech faculty, staff and alumni may purchase a maximum of four tickets.
All remaining tickets after priority group orders have been fulfilled may be purchased by the general public with a maximum of four tickets per person.
