Golden Eagle football program signs five-year uniform deal with Adidas

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech football team will hit the field this fall with, quite literally, a whole new look.

Yes, the Golden Eagles will have a new look in their game plan, brought to the field by new head coach Marcus Satterfield.

But the team’s new look will also feature a change in appearance -- Tech will be clad in new uniforms after the football program signed a five-year deal with apparel powerhouse Adidas.

“Tech football and the all-new ‘Tech Tuff’ brand is excited to have Adidas as the sponsor for all Golden Eagle football uniforms, apparel, shoes and gear,” Satterfield said.

“To have Adidas as our provider will help us to soar into the next phase of Tennessee Tech football. It is a brand that is recognized worldwide for its quality and excellence. This agreement shows our players, fans and recruits our commitment to be the best football program in the country.”

Satterfield said the seeds have been sown for winning championships, and the new uniform deal with Adidas adds to the momentum.

“We are excited to outfit our players and team from head to the toe in the best, and Adidas is synonymous with the best,” Satterfield said. “We are excited to have them join us in this championship process.”

Season tickets are currently on sale for the 2016 home schedule in Tucker Stadium.  Tickets may be ordered online at TTUsports.com, by visiting the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center, or by calling (931) 372-3940.

The Golden Eagles will open the season on Thursday, Sept. 1, when they host Wofford University.
