A powerful runningback, Adam spent two seasons at Georgia Southern, transfered to Tech last fall and sat out the 2010 season...heads into the 2011 campaign expected to have a major impact on the Golden Eagle offense...excellent quickness and strength...an elusive runner who can also power through tacklers...spent his first season at Tech on the scout team as he sat out due to NCAA transfer rules...emerged in the spring of 2011 as a top-notch ball carrier and proved his worth in his first fall season at Tech...expected to continue to see lots of touches in 2012...has one seasons of eligibility remaining.

AT TECH (In 2011): Made his first start as a Golden Eagle against Iowa on Sept. 3, recorded 27 yards on five carries and eight receiving yards in his debut game for Tech...suffered a mild ankle injury that kept him out for four contests...returned to the field against TSU on Oct. 15 and gathered 57 all-purpose yards...carried the ball for over 100 yards in back-to-back outings against Murray on Nov. 5 and at EKU on Nov. 12...had his longest run of the season against Murray, a 60 yard carry, and his longest catch against EKU (31 yards)...best overall effort came at EKU with 31 receiving yards and 55 runshing yards for 168 all-purpose yards...on the season, carried the ball for 475 yards and caught for 95 yards.

AT TECH (In 2010): Was enrolled in for 2010 Fall semester, but had to sit out the season due to NCAA transfer rules...worked on the scout team...made his move to the top of the depth chart during spring drills.

BEFORE TECH: Played two seasons at Georgia Southern...had one of the finest seasons ever recorded by a GSU freshman in 2008 despite missing final two games...SoCon All-Freshman team…had 52 carries for 304 yards and seven TDs...season-high of 83 rushing yards on 11 carries helped the Eagles stage an NCAA record fourth quarter comeback at Western Carolina…on the first play in overtime scored from 25 yards out, which proved to be the game-winning touchdown…as a sophomore he had 141 carries for 622 yards and six TDs and caught 45 passes for 315 yards..rushed 17 yards for 93 yards at North Carolina...career best 153 yards and two TDs on 32 carries at Chattanooga...comes to Tech with 926 career rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 193 carries.

HIGH SCHOOL: Adam was a four-year starter in the backfield under coach Hal Lamb at Calhoun High School...named all-state as a sophomore and senior, but missed the chance as a junior when he missed some games due to injury...showed signs of what was to come when he rushed for 500 yards and nine touchdowns as a freshman...sophomore season netted 2,100 yards and 36 touchdowns...injury sidelined him art of junior season but he still rushed for 900 yards and eight scores...added 1,500 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior, helping lead his squad to Georgia Class 2A state runnerup spot.
