Tre is the projected starter at quarterback for the Golden Eagles heading into the 2011 season after starting the first eight games as a sophomore...spent one season as a redshirt and one year as the understudy to record-setter Lee Sweeney (now a graduate assistant coach)...an extremely intelligent player who knows the game well and has a keen understanding of the Tech offense...an exciting runner but also owns a strong arm and can make all the throws...adds a new dimension to the offense with his quickness and running skills...brings a great temperament into the huddle...calm under fire...shows mobility and versatility...can move the offense in variety of ways...has found the end zone as both a runner and a passer...his name appeared on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll three of the past four semesters.

AT TECH (In 2010): Moving into the starter's role as a sophomore, Tre was proving to be a team leader when an injury forced him to completely miss the final three games...started the first eight contests and passed for 974 yards and 11 touchdowns while throwing only four interceptions...completed 52.9 percent of his passes, going 73-for-136...had a passing rating of 133.91...after throwing for 99 yards at Arkansas and 50 at TCU, he was limited to 47 yards through the air in the rain-shortened game vs. Lane when Tech kept it on the ground most of the night...had a break-out game at eventual OVC champion Southeast Missouri, throwing for 246 yards and two touchdowns and nearly rallying the Golden Eagles to a comeback win...had his second 200-yard effort he next week against UT Martin, passing for 207 yards and three touchdowns...threw for 162 yards on 11-for-17 effort in win at Austin Peay...was 10-for-18 for 99 yards and three touchdowns in win at Tennessee State when he was injured...an effective runner, he gained 100 yards on 82 attempts including one touchdown...top game was 59 yards at Austin Peay, giving him 221 yards of total offense...top game was 266 in total offense at SEMO, including 20 rushing...notched his first career rushing tochdown against Eastern Illinois...his first career passing touchdown was against eventual Rose Bowl champion TCU.

(In 2009):
Tre made his Golden Eagle debut and saw action in seven games in a backup role to veteran Lee Sweeney...as a passer he completed 44.4 percent (8-for-18) of his tosses for 113 yards and had a 97.18 efficiency rating...rushed 21 times for a net of eight yards...gained 37 but was dropped for 29 in losses, most of that (19) coming against the Georgia Bulldogs...top rushing game was 13 yards, posted against both Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State...was 3-for-6 for 37 yards against Georgia for his top aerial effort.

Tre was a redshirt for the Golden Eagles in his true freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tre posted a 21-4 record as the starter at quarterback for Calhoun High School, coached by his father, Hal Lamb....named first-team All-State by both the Georgia Sportswriters and the Atlanta Journal Constitution...two-time pick on the Rome News All-Area team and the Chattanooga Times-Free Press All-Area team...as a senior he was 159-for-229 for 2,232 yards with 27 touchdowns and only six interceptions...also had 40 carries for 219 yards and four scores...in addition to three letters in football, he also lettered three times each in basketball and baseball, and twice on the golf team.
