AT TECH -- (In 2009): Richmond started all 11 games at field corner as a sophomore...proved to be among the most dependable defensive backs in the league...made 44 total tackles including 18 solo tackles...tied for the team lead with three interceptions and led the team with nine passes defended...was a standout in Tech's Sgt. York games...season-high of 12 tackles and three passes defended in Tech's win over Austin Peay...had six tackles against Tennesse State...intercepted a pass and broke up three attempts at Eastern Kentucky...also picked off passes against Southeast Missouri and Tennessee State.

Richmond played in all 12 games as a true freshman and his steady improvement put him into the starting lineup for seven of the final nine games...was top on the team in tackles among the many freshmen who played in 2008, and he ranked fifth overall for the Golden Eagles with 48 total stops...broke up three passes and had 1.5 tackles-for-loss...ranked fourth in the OVC among all freshmen for total tackles and fifth-highest freshman for tackles per game with 4.7...tied for second among OVC freshmen for solo tackles with 30...reached double figures in tackles twice and nearly had twin digits in two more outings...had 10 tackles, including nine solo, at FBS Western Michigan, and also posted one TFL against the Broncos...had 13 tackles against Eastern Kentucky, along with one pass defended...had nine tackles against Jacksonville State and eight the following week against Eastern Illinois in season finale.

HIGH SCHOOL: A team captain at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, Richmond was named first-team All-Metro and earned a spot on the 2007 first-team All-Super Prep Conference squad...two-way player, he earned all-state honors as a defensive back as a junior, and all-state honors as a wide receiver as a senior...had 38 total tackles with two tackles-for-loss, four interceptions, three passes defended and one fumble recovery from his defensive back spot...on offense, he had 22 catches for 295 yards and five touchdowns, and was chosen to play in the Memphis East/West All-Star game...The Memphis Commercial-Appeal named Tooley its Athlete of the Week on Oct. 24...also earned two letters in track & field...finished career with 90 total tackles and eight interceptions.
