A player with excellent potential, Jocques is anxious to prove it to the Golden Eagle faithful...staff hasn't had much of a chance to see him shine due to transfer and injury...arrived at Tech in the fall and sat out the 2009 as a transfer from University of Kansas...injury kept him sidelined throughout spring drills...eligible to hit the field this fall...expected to be a big contributor...hard runner with elusive skills...has one final season of eligibility remaining.

AT KANSAS (In 2008): Jocques played in 13 games
for the Jayhawks, rushing for 232 yards and four touchdowns...also
had 46 receiving yards and 126 on kick returns for coach Mark
Mangino’s squad.
AT CISCO (TEXAS) JUNIOR COLLEGE (In 2006-2007):
Played two seasons at Cisco (Texas) Junior College where he was
named the National Junior College Player of the Year under coach
John Parchman...was the top Juco rusher in the nation with 1,935
yards and 19 touchdowns, the most yards by a JC runningback in
seven years...had 1,069 yards and eight TDs as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped coach Leonard
Crutchfield’s Cordova High School team to three consecutive
TSSAA playoff appearances...as a high school junior, he rushed for
1,400 yards and 19 touchdowns and was named All-State...was ranked
as the 13th best runningback in the nation as a prep
senior...originally recruited out of high school by Texas Tech.
