KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech's midweek baseball game against No. 16 Tennessee was suspended due to heavy rain in Knoxville Tuesday evening, with the Vols leading 5-4 with two outs in the top of the fifth inning.
The two teams will finish the game at a later date to be determined.
The Golden Eagles will host Eastern Michigan in a three-game series this weekend, with the season's home opener starting at 3:00 p.m. CT on Friday at Quillen Field and Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex. The series will conclude with 1:00 p.m. tilts on both Saturday and Sunday.
