Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview (2/14)
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The reigning NCAA Oxford Regional champion Tennessee Tech baseball team officially kicks off the 2019 slate Friday afternoon, playing host to Western Illinois in a three-game series beginning with a 1:00 p.m. CT tilt at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex. Originally slated for a 6:00 p.m. start, game time was moved up due to impending inclement weather.
Also, because of expected inclement weather on Sunday, the two teams will look to play a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning with an 11:00 a.m. first pitch for game one. Game two of the doubleheader will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conlcusion of the first game.
With rain expected in the area this weekend, fans are encouraged to check social media and the TTUSports.com website for updates concerning this weekend's schedule.
