COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – For the first time in recent memory, the defending NCAA Oxford Regional Champion Tennessee Tech baseball team will take on an opponent outside of itself during the fall, playing host to two fall exhibition contests at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex.

"We're excited to have the opportunity to play outside competition during the fall for the first time since I've been," head coach Justin Holmes said. "These games will have a true exhibition feel as they won't be limited to nine innings and unlimited substitutions will be allowed."

Coming off the best season in both program and OVC history, the Golden Eagles will kick off its fall action with a match-up against Lee University on Saturday, Sept. 29. The contest will serve as just one of the activities planned for the team's annual Alumni Day. More details on Alumni Day will be released at a later date.

Game two of the fall will feature a visit from the University of Alabama at Huntsville (UAH) on Saturday, Oct. 27. Game times for both contests will be released via a press release and on social media at a later date.

"Both of these contests present a great opportunity for the community to come out and see the guys in action against someone in another jersey," Holmes explained. "We can't wait to get out there and hope to see everyone here at Quillen Field."
