2017 (Sophomore): Roberts appeared in a team-high 22 games while taking over as the closer of the Golden Eagle staff… posted a 3.97 ERA while setting the program’s single-season saves record with 13… ranked 17^th nationally in total saves and led the OVC… held batters to just a .235 average throughout the season while completing 47.2 innings on the mound… struck out a whopping 77 batters, with just 13 walks, setting a program record for most strikeouts by a pitcher without at least five starts… yielded only 21 earned runs and 23 total runs, as well as just 43 hits… set a program-record with nine consecutive strikeouts against Murray State (Apr. 14), fanning 10 of the 11 batters he faced in 3.1 innings to earn his 10^th save of the season… claimed his first victory of the year after tossing a season-high 3.2 innings in relief in the first game of a doubleheader at UT Martin (Mar. 10)… recorded multiple walks just once all season… held opponents scoreless in 13 of his 22 appearances… pitched three or more innings six times on the year… struck out at least five batters in seven games, including four straight appearances from a contest at Southeast Missouri (Apr. 28) to a showing at Eastern Kentucky (Apr. 13)… struck out the side in the ninth inning at Eastern Kentucky (Apr. 13) to clinch Tech the OVC regular season title… finished with zero walks issued 10 times.

2016 (Freshman): Roberts made 17 appearances on the hill in his first season as a Golden Eagles, including one start… finished the year with a team-best 2.94 ERA… led the team with a 6-1 record and tied for the team lead with two saves… tallied 65 strikeouts and just 18 walks in 49.0 innings of work while allowing just 16 earned runs and 19 total runs… posted his first career victory in his first career appearance against Western Illinois (Feb. 20), tossing two innings of scoreless ball with three strikeouts… notched his first career save with four-innings of work and five strikeouts against Southeast Missouri (May 7)… made his lone start of the year at Little Rock (May 1), gathering the victory after five innings of scoreless work… fanned a season-high 10 batters in four innings of relief in a 13-inning victory at Belmont (May 13)… completed a season-high 5.1 innings, all scoreless, with six Ks against Austin Peay (Apr. 2)… made six straight scoreless appearances spanning Tech’s contest against Lipscomb (Mar. 8) through its first game of a doubleheader at Eastern Illinois (Apr. 9)… struck out five or more batters in seven contests and finished six games with zero walks issued… made nine scoreless appearances and tossed four inning or more in seven contests.

High School: Roberts was a four-year letterwinner as a pitcher and shortstop for head coach Shawn Floyd at White County High School… earned two Cy Young awards and was named All-District three times, including a First-Team spot as a senior… took home All-State honors as a senior after going 6-1 with a 1.30 ERA… as a junior, tallied a 6-2 record with 68 strikeouts in 65 innings of work… finished his junior campaign with a 1.50 ERA while batting .315 with two home runs… took home the team’s batting title and MVP honors… earned Perfect Game Southeast Region Honorable Mention accolades following his senior campaign.
