COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the start of the Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Tournament right around the corner, Tennessee Tech alumni and fans are invited to attend the Tech Athletics hospitality tent throughout the week in Jackson, Tenn.

A gold TTU tent will be open two hours prior to each Golden Eagle game and will feature complimentary food and beverages for all fans to enjoy. The intended location of the tent will be right outside the front entrance at the Ballpark at Jackson, home of the Jackson Generals, the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

The OVC Tournament begins on Wednesday, with Tech (25-27, 16-14) entering the six-team field as a No. 4 seed after clinching a spot in the tournament on the final day of the regular season. The Golden Eagles will have the first game of day, kicking off their quest for the program's fourth title with a 3 p.m. match-up with No. 5 Jacksonville State.

A win would mean a Thursday match-up at either 3 p.m. against No. 2 Morehead State or at 7 p.m. against No. 1 Southeast Missouri, depending on the outcome of Wednesday's other contest between No. 3 SIUE and No. 6 Belmont. A loss would equate to an 11 a.m. contest against the loser of the the match-up between the Cougars and Bruins.

The tournament is slated to last through Saturday with an if-necessary game set for Sunday.

Fans who are not able to get to the games can watch all the action free of charge via the OVC Digital Network, or can listen live on FM 106.1 The Eagle with Dylan Vazzano providing the play-by-play and Mike Lehman serving as an analyst for each TTU game.
