DOUBLE TROUBLE
The Golden Eagle bats found their power last week, as the Tech squad tallied 19 extra base hits over four games, including 13 doubles, a triple and five home runs. Leading the way was senior David Allen, who collected four doubles, sophomore Anthony El Chibani, who recorded one of each, and senior Dylan Bosheers who bashed out three home runs.

ALREADY IN MIDSEASON FORM
Preseason All-American Dylan Bosheers is starting to show just why he was given such a high honor. For the season, the senior is batting .320 while leading the Golden Eagles with 14 runs scored, 15 RBI and four home runs.

He is slugging .640 on the year and owns an on base percentage of .410 thanks to seven walks. He has made just one error between stints at second base and shortstop, the latter of which he returned to this past week after recovering from an offseason arm injury.

FRESHMAN FOCUS
Freshman Chase Chambers has really come alive over the past four games, batting .500 thanks to seven hits in 14 at bats. Over that span he's slugged .643 and tallied an on base percentage of .563. On the year, he leads the Golden Eagles with a .357 average, garnering eight walks and tallying a .476 slugging percentage and .471 on base percentage.

Fellow freshman Ryan Flick, Tech's designated hitter, has also been a huge boon to the offense. Number 11 is tied for the team lead with 15 RBI on the year, thanks to a slugging percentage of .500 and seven extra base hits. He ranks second on the squad with two dingers.

MR. 300
With a 14-2 win over Northern Illinois on Saturday, head coach Matt Bragga earned his 300th career victory, just the second Tech coach to accomplish that feat in the past 40 years.
