COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Tech baseball team was forced to postpone its in-state match-up with rival Middle Tennessee Wednesday afternoon with the expectations of a winter storm and already rough field conditions from last week's blizzard-like symptoms leading the causes.
The Golden Eagles, who had already rescheduled the home game against the Blue Raiders from Tuesday evening due to unplayable field conditions, will now make up the contest with its in-state foe on Wednesday, April 29. The game, which will be hosted at Bush Stadium in the Averitt Express Baseball Complex, is tabbed for a 6 p.m. CST start.
The next contest on the docket for the Golden Eagles is this Friday, Feb. 27. Tech will host Northern Illinois in the first contest of a three-game series beginning at 3 p.m.
