COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team is once again joining this year's Homecoming festivities, hosting its annual alumni event on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. CT at Quillen Field at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex.

All former Tech players are invited to come back and meet the players and coaches as well as take part in both a quality at bat competition and, weather permitting, a home run derby. Following the on-field activities, everyone will head over to the 98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park for some Golden Eagle football pregame festivities and tailgating.

Alumni will also be provided the opportunity to hammer their link to the TTU baseball alumni chain "Commitment to Excellence." Current head coach Matt Bragga will give a brief overview of the "Commitment to Excellence" and the chain that links TTU baseball student-athletes.

"We love it when our former players can make it out to these events and get know the future of our program," said Bragga. "We've had many guys make their start here and go on to great success, both on and off the field, and we love being able to share good fellowship with them when they come back to Cookeville."

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the homecoming football game against Southeast Missouri at 1:30 p.m. at Tucker Stadium.
