COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team will continue its short road stretch Tuesday afternoon, as the Golden Eagles (23-6) head to Huntsville, Ala. for a 3 p.m., midweek match-up with the Bulldogs (10-18) of Alabama A&M.
The Tech squad rebounded nicely after a loss in its first of a three-game series this weekend at SIUE, winning each of the last two contests to claim its fourth Ohio Valley Conference series of the year.
As for Alabama A&M, the Bulldogs were unable to play over the weekend due to inclement weather, postponing a double header against Mississippi Valley State. The team fell in two midweek games last week, allowing 38 runs in two games at Georgia State.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• For the second straight year, the Golden Eagles will play a home-and-home with Alabama A&M, hosting the Bulldogs later this month in Cookeville. Tech won both match-ups last season, including a tight 8-6 contests in Huntsville.
• The Tech leader in long balls, senior Brandon Thomasson made history last week, becoming the first Tech player in over 20 years to hit for the cycle. The right fielder collected eight hits over the week, batting .348 and driving in five runs.
• Senior Daniel Miles continued to rake and lead the Golden Eagles offensively last week, collecting seven more hits while scoring six runs, scoring four more, and drawing four walks. He still leads the OVC with a .436 average, 51 total hits, and 42 runs scored. His 28 RBI ranks second on the team while his .692 slugging percentage and .538 on-base percentage both lead the league.
• Already the all-time career leader in Tech history in RBI, Zach Stephens took one step closer to taking home an even more impressive career record, hammering his 50th career long ball last week. He now sits just one home run away from A.J. Kirby-Jones' record mark. Stephens is also just three RBI away from 200 in his career.
• Shortstop Dylan Bosheers continued to impress all over the field for the Golden Eagles, hitting his fifth home run of the year over the weekend while also stealing his sixth base to keep the team lead. The junior owns an impressive .977 fielding percentage to go with huge offensive numbers of .389 (batting average), .637 (slugging percentage), and .463 (on-base percentage).
