Golden Eagle baseball team to hold Indoor Camp in January and February

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – For the second straight year, the Tennessee Tech baseball team will offer its Golden Eagle Baseball School Indoor League camp beginning in January. The camp is set to run every Monday night from Jan. 6 through Feb. 24.

The camp, which is for ages 6-9, costs just $99 and offers each participant their own GEBS jersey, a guaranteed eight games, and a reward at the end of the playoffs. Games will last approximately 50 minutes, with starting times at 6 and 7 p.m. each night of the camp.

There will be four teams of seven to 10 players on each roster and will be created based on left handed throwers, age, and catchers (if necessary). Players will rotate positions every inning and more details on how that rotation works can be found here.

Each team will need at least one team coach (parents or volunteers) while the GEBS will provide a coach to pitch for each team as well as an umpire.

For more information, those interested can either click here for an information pamphlet or click here to register on the Golden Eagle Baseball School site.

Note: Although the camp is run by TTU coaches and use of the facilities is warranted, this event is run independently of Tennessee Tech University.
