Golden Eagles back in Cookeville for home game against Alabama A&M

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Tech baseball team is returns home after a four-game stint on the road for a Tuesday night contest against Alabama A&M. The Golden Eagles defeated the Bulldogs earlier this season, 8-6, and will look to do it again in Tuesday's 6 p.m. CDT game.

The Golden Eagles are coming off its first series loss of the season, falling to Jacksonville State in two of three games over the weekend. Tech managed to salvage a win, shutting out the Gamecocks 4-0 on Sunday behind a stellar pitching performance behind this week's adidas Ohio Valley Conference co-Pitcher of the Week, Jacob Honea.

Daniel Miles joined Honea in the awards department, earning adidas OVC co-Player of the Week, his second honor of the year.

Expected on the hill for the Golden Eagles will be junior righty Garrett Baugh, who threw two no-hit innings against No. 2 Vanderbilt in last week's landmark, upset win.
