COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team took part in Positive Encouragement Day at Prescott South Middle School last Friday, talking to those students who earned the chance to meet the players with excellence both in and out of the classroom.
Several members of the Golden Eagles were on hand earlier in the day as part of the school's "Prize Patrol," rewarding students for in-class excellence and overall achievement.
In the afternoon, the players talked to the students about positive encouragement and shared some of their own personal experiences with students ranging from fifth grade to eighth grade. Over 600 students were on hand during the day to learn from the Golden Eagle players.
