TTU wraps up road trip at Vanderbilt Tuesday night

Game time pushed back from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- After a tough weekend to open Ohio Valley Conference play, the Tennessee Tech baseball will look to upset another Southeastern Conference opponent as it travels to Vanderbilt Tuesday.

The first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

The Golden Eagles are 18-21 all-time against the Commodores, which includes an 11-2 loss in their last meeting back in 2011.

Tech enters the game with a 9-14 record, including a 1-2 mark against UT Martin this past weekend.

During the weekend, the Golden Eagles were led by Dylan Bosheers, who drove two runs in each game for a team-high six RBI. Ben Burgess drove in three runs himself and scored a team-high four runs.

VU owns a 9-15 record, which includes a pair of wins against Georgia in its last two games.

Anthony Gomez leads the Commodores in runs batted in with 22, while Tony Kemp has scored a team-high 22 runs.
