Tech baseball hosts three-game series against Central Michigan

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- Just a few days removed from its big win over Tennessee, the Tennessee Tech baseball team will look to keep its momentum going as hosts a three-game series against the Central Michigan Chippewas this weekend.

Game one of the series is set for 3 p.m. Friday, with game two set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday and game three set for Sunday at 12 p.m.

This will be the first time the Golden Eagles have faced the Chippewas.

TTU has posted a 2-2 record in its last four games, which includes a win over Tennessee and Evansville. During that four game stretch Zach Stephens and Evan Frazier have had the hot bats for the Golden Eagles with Frazier batting .500 and Stephens driving in a team-high six runs.

CMU enters the weekend with a 7-10 record, which includes its recent 15-7 win over Davenport.

Jordan Dean has paced the Chippewa offense this season as he has batted .356 with 15 RBI and 16 runs scored. William Arnold has hit a team-leading four home runs, to go along with 13 RBI.
