COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech fans and alumni attending the
games at the Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Tournament in Jackson,
Tenn., later this week are invited to a hospitality tent at
Pringles Park, hosted by Tech Athletics.
The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle baseball team will be in Jackson
attempting to defend the OVC Tournament title that it captuyred a
year ago, sending coach Matt Bragga's team to the NCAA Clemson
Regional. The 2010 OVC regular season champion and No. 1
seed, Tech will bid for the 2010 OVC tournament championship and a
return trip to the NCAA Tournament.
As the No. 1 seed, the Golden Eagles have a bye on the first day
of action Wednesday. Tech's first game is Thursday at 7 p.m.
against an opponent to be determined.
Tech Athletics will host a hospitality tent before each Golden
Eagle game in the tourney, opening one-and-a-half hours before each
contest. The tent is open to all Tech fans including alumni,
parents of the team and friends. A purple tent and TTU trailer will
be located at the edge of the Pringles Park parking lot.
Meanwhile, fans who are not able to get to the games can listen to
all the action live via Free Teamline.
All of Tech's games in the tournament can be heard live via FREE
Teamline, with Rob Schabert and Grant Swallows calling the action.
